Just a quick reminder of the quality requirements for submitting blogs here at Linklift, for those of you who are wondering what they really are.
We look for the following in a website before approving it.
- No duplicated content. By this we mean that we don’t want any complete posts that are copied directly from another source, quoting people or other websites is ok as long as they are cited in the post.
- Regularly updated content. The content should be original and should be updated frequently.
- Few paid links. We look for websites that have as few paid links on the site as possible, if you do have paid links they should be content relevant.
- Websites without footprints. We look for websites that do not have links to poker sites, adult sites, or online pill sites that are not relevant to the overall content of the site. For example, having poker links on a website about gambling or poker is ok, having these links on a website about cooking is not.
- Good backlinks. We look for websites that have good links from other strong websites, as this gives links on your site more juice.
- The older the domain the better. Older domains are looked upon more favourably by us as they are generally preferred by search engines.
That is a quick overview of what we look for from websites. If you have any questions or queries, contact us.
All the best!
